Hi Alan,
If I recall correctly, you were going to send me a list of software requirements. I propose that Drupal is the most viable choice for an application which will test the open money economy.
By the way I am already responding to the Portland RFP. My email is on my web site, matslats.net, or you could post them somewhere public!

Hi Alan, it just occurred to me that a Time Bank potluck here in Portland and a screening of your film could be rolled together into one event. Let me know if this sounds interesting.

hey Alan-
If you are interested in transitional approaches from traditional money to cc's (i.e. convertible to/from dollars) you should check out www.interraproject.org if you haven't already. They have an affinity card for local, sustainable businesses that generates "community rebates." Jon Ramer, the ED is on this network in fact!

Hey Alan, I was listening to one of your latest talks on blog talk radio with "the guys"... I'm interested in your community way project in Portland... is it something to write a story about? (hmmm, how far away is Sasktchewan from Oregon?)

Alan - are you following the drupal conversation here? It may meet some of your needs. Certainly they'll have a mono-currency model you could kludge for a cw process.

But whether they can get past mono to multi is the big hurdle.

Alan! I love what you are planning to do with your abilities in Mexico! fantastic. I can't wait to meet you. Also, I would love to talk with all the Oregonians about weaving networks there.

I can't believe Sheri brought up Jair! He helped inspire my thrivability blog...and he is a hoot.

More about me
I am a documentary filmmaker working on a feature length film about money. I got so into this subject as I was researching it, that I decided to start a cashless trading initiative here in Portland. We have been developing new ways for CCs to interact with the dollar which could help CCs gain acceptance in the mainstream.
