Who are the players here that have created technologies for managing community currencies? I am planning to install one in Santa Cruz, starting with its local business incubator in order to exchange value between business to business. Plans are to then grow it into a regional currency. Can you connect me with some technologists of currency management (which means hand helds as well as point management system software. Can you help? : )

Without much surprise I realize we share common fields of interests.
Indeed, as my blog suggests, I am interested and engaged into alternative economic measurement systems , alternative lifestyles ( nomadism ) and the ungoing spiritual dimensions of life.
I am also interested in collective intelligence, using existing tools (collaborative media), and prospecting into potential development of some kind of self organizing emergent immersive post-symbolic visual language.
Lately I have been interacting mostly with the http://p2pfoundation.net and http:/ms.lt ( http://www.worknets.net/ ) ecologies.
I have known about the transitionner wiki for a number of years,
and look forward to keep a closer eye on all ecologies while participating together into their further trans-connection.
