More about me
I am passionate about collective wisdom. It is the ground of my work, research and practice. I collaborate in 3 projects: Open money (community building, process design, communication, collaboration technologies) TheTransitioner (pioneering network, research and wisdom circles) and my baby ICON which is Integral Communities Network where we are building a community prototype in Mexico which Vision is:

ICON is an integral community, an icon of human emergence where the manifestation of new social, economical, spiritual and environmental forms is enhanced, empowered and midwifed in service of humanity.

ICON is leadered by circles of practitioners of collective intelligence which attract proactive co-creators aligned to its vision.

you will do Fernanda, also when I get myself clear of technical stuff I have to learn wilol be wanting to find out much more about yourself and your projects as I suspect we have a few things in common but you have more knowledge of communities, whereas I just chuck myself in and do it by a trial by fire, I have just recently built a new site for scarybirds, www.scarybirds.com using drupal which has been a steep learning curve and very frustrating along the way, so once that is fixed to my liking then I can get on with the important task of having fun and developing the off the wall artistic projects

Hi Fernanda -
It looks like you are doing great work! I'll be following links to learn more about your projects and all the great resources on this group - a real treasure trove. Impressive!
I'd be happy to meet in-world (for those not in the know, that is the slang for in Second Life virtual world). My avatar is Kalisten VanDornan. I should blog more about my experiences in SL, the learning curve, the in-world economy and the sociology of it all, which is beyond fascinating.

I'm the executive director based in NYC.

I see you have a video from Gnomedex. My colleague Robert Steele did a presentation there that you might have seen.

I will have to look more into what Ian Dakers has been saying or if you can direct me to this.

I hope life in Mexico City is going well for you. Thanks for your message.

What a beautiful cover! I love it. You guys seriously need just one really good looking webpage that explains everything in one central location. I was just looking at another magazine to submit my open money stuff that didn't get included in my last article to... I have to think of some fresh new angle though... Maybe I need to find out what happened at this conference you guys did last month? Sorry, just thinking out loud now. Ttyl!
